SPE I Theory & Pract Sp Care
This course examines the dynamics that contribute to a healthy
self-understanding for those training to provide spiritual care as
a pastor, spiritual care practitioner, or psychotherapist and
includes a unit of Supervised Pastoral Education (SPE) that
provides opportunities for the student to gain skills in spiritual
care and psychotherapy required for individual, family and
group therapy.
Corequisites: TH664H.
Exclusions: For students enrolled in MDiv and MDiv/MA
(Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy and public faith & spirituality fields) who
have not taken TH562A.
